UNITED NATIONS & NYU SCHOOL OF LAW - PREVENTION
We designed the identity for a program developed for the United Nations by the Center for Human Rights and Global Justice at NYU School of Law. The goal was to capture the essence of complex systems that interact synergistically between different governments, NGOs, and institutions around the world. The aim was to develop a framework approach to prevention and make prevention a reality.
The significance of this program is emphasized in the initial briefing of the current UN Secretary-General to the Security Council, where he expressed his keen interest in prevention. During the meeting, he pointed out, "We spend much more time and resources responding to crises than preventing them. People are paying too high a price. We need a completely new approach," and declared, "Prevention is not just a priority, but the priority for me.”
